Well, I need your tips and advice. We all clearly know that there are some serious differences between boys and girls from the start(anyone who says differently is crazy)! Well, we have come to a point where Megan is getting ready to potty train. I feel like I have the concept figured out but I am asking for some "little girl" tips. So if you have any great tips or successes that you would love to share with me, I would be very grateful!

Good luck! I'm not the girl who can help. I do hear they're easier then boys.
I don't think I can help either, but I'll be sure to take note of the advice you get so that I'll be more prepared when it's Chloe's turn. :)
Sorry I don't have adivice either, The time I thought I had Chickie potty trained, she wasn't. When we went back to the states, she starting potting in her panties again. So it took me another three months to potty trainer again. SO Good luck! HOwever, they are more easier then boys. I am glad that School started today, it was so nice to have time to myself with just Izzy. Oh, I love you family picture, it is so CUTE!
Just do the same thing. I told Grace that if she peed on tinker bell(her panties), tinker bell would bite her. She was done in a week!
Hey Cindy, I wish I had something magical that worked. My girls liked to have a stool to rest their feet on and books to read. Potty chairs were more of a nuisance for us. I usually bribed them with a treat and slowly that faded out. I also told the older children to be overly dramatic about having to go so that the trainee would notice and try to notice what their body was saying. Well, I hope something helps. Good Luck.
I don't have any girls specific ideas, so these should work with either sex. You know all this because you've potty trained three kids already!!
Make sure that she is interested, because (obviously) if she doesn't want to do it, she's not going to do it.
Be consistent. Don't start & give up and then start again the next week. Stay home for a few days and really work at it.
With Avery, I got the trainer panties and the vinyl covers. If she went in her pants, I took her outside and hosed her off. And it wasn't summer! Hee-hee-hee!
There is a book called Toliet Training in Less Than a Day. It was written in the 70's but it still applies. I didn't do everything it said to, but it has some very good ideas. Like get a doll and have Megan teach the doll how to use the toliet, have the doll go and get a reward, have the doll have an accident and discuss that etc, etc. We all know teachign somehow else how to do something is a great way to instill the thing being taught into your own brain.
It is a lot of work, but it's totally worth it not to have to change a poopy diaper anymore, eh?
Well I have never potty trained a boy to compare to, but Lauren was potty trained when she was 2 yrs. and 4 months. I tried right before she was 2 and it was a no go! Then a few weeks later and once again it was a "no go!" I think I tried 4 or 5 times with in 6 months...It has to be her idea and I used less than one package of pull ups....meaning they were hardly used. I didnt like to use them since they are essentially diapers!...they know that too! Once Lauren knew how to potty, but was just being lazy I would put her in a cold shower for about 30 seconds to wipe of the pee. I know its so mean, but it works. We just explained to her that this was the only way to get the pee/poop off. It took about 4 times of that and she was done with "accidents". When they were clearly accidents I didnt do it, but it also works great as a threat if they wont go when you tell them to! Every child is different so Im not sure that this will work, but its what I did and it worked!
