No Excitement Lately

Well, not too much has happened lately. So I decided to take some random pictures to show the unexcitement of our lives lately.

Jake had to go back into the dentist to get his other bottom front tooth pulled. The adult tooth grew in behind it and the baby tooth just wasn't getting loose. So we are 2 for 2 on dentist pulls. Hopefully nature will step in and we can do this "normally"!

Nick is enjoying his favorite past time...watchin Star Wars. This weeks choice was episode VI. They have all the music and fight scenes memorized. His allergies have been acting up again with spring coming. Poor child!

Caleb at his normal best. I hope everyone has a "Caleb" in their family. It livens things up a bit. Here he is (without his pants) painting a picture. Whoever invented this toy is a miracle maker, a picture that is painted with water, but dries invisible so that it can be painted again. It is a lifesaver for us with Caleb!

These shoes are not quite the look I would shoot for, but she sure did look cute in her brother's tennies. Megan has been busy, busy, busy lately. A friend of mine described her perfectly the other day, "She is the cutest little thing with a pocket full of vinegar and sass!" I am glad that others can see it too and I am not just going crazy!

Innocence Vs. Mischief

At the same moment in time, I had 2 little ones displaying 2 very different behavior. Megan was waiting patiently for dinner, loving and holding and feeding her baby. Meanwhile......

Caleb was climbing onto the countertop getting into the microwave, pushing buttons, and trying to cook nothing. Next he went for the pens, where I stopped him, knowing that could be a big mess!

Disclaimer: Caleb is normally mischeivous; however, Megan is not always innocent. She has what her Daddy calls an "attitude"!

Miss Independant

Megan has always been strong willed, but lately she has to do it ALL! So I have given up. I longer control the situation; I just clean up! But I just remind myself that practice makes perfect.

Plunger

There is nothing like poopin' with a plunger!

Pictures

We went to get Caleb's pictures taken for his birthday. Boy, was it an ordeal. Caleb HATES to have his picture taken. After one appointment with little success, I decided to come back with Daddy (and his strength) and have Megan get her pictures done first. Megan sat well and we got some great pictures, even though we didn't really need them. Caleb slowly warmed up to the little fake bunny that Megan had used. He sat with Daddy until he was comfortable and then he was ok, cautious but ok. Curtis was able to squeeze out of the view and we finally got some decent pictures. I hope this fear ends soon. I won't have the strength to hold him down much longer!!

Caleb's 4th Birthday

Yesterday was Caleb's 4th birthday, so he got a big birthday party. He chose to have a Go, Diego, Go party. It is has been hard all week for Caleb to wait for the big day. We practiced singing the birthday song to him over and over again. We had a great party with lots of friends. We had a great time. It is hard to see him turn 4. He is officially no longer a baby. I am sad!

Megan's 2nd Bath

We were giving the kids their baths tonight, and I had just finished washing Megan. So I took her into her room and lotioned her up and got her pajamas on. She ran off while I put her new sheets on her bed. Curt was finishing up Caleb in the tub when Megan ran in and reached to get a toy and into the tub she plopped. So she got her second bath, and I got to dry her and put her in her second pajamas!
