Grand Canyon

 

 After we left Alaska, we flew to Dyess AFB, Abilene, Texas.  We ate delicious American food and got trapped in a major thunderstorm.  The kids felt hail which was something we hadn't seen in years.  We rented a car in Texas and started the drive to Utah for the family reunions.  We decided to take a detour to the Grand Canyon in Arizona.

 It was absolutely beautiful.  What an experience! Now we would like to go back, spend a few days and hike it. 

 

 The Grand Canyon definitely reaffirmed Jake's fear of heights, which of course made everyone else try to scare Jake by getting close to the edge!!
