Our New Assignment!

Curtis got notice today of our new assignment to Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal!! We are so excited. We leave here in November. We are excited for our new adventure.

My Earliest Loser Yet!

Caleb lost his first tooth yesterday. And he was still 6!! A new family record. The other boys were 7 or 8 when they lost their first. Caleb is so proud and informed me that it did not hurt as much as the other boys made it out to hurt. He loves showing off that gap in his mouth and was a little annoyed that the tooth fairy took the tooth. It was his prize possession.

Happy Birthday, Nick!

Yesterday we celebrated Nick's 9th birthday. He invited some boys over for a party and sleepover. I wondered if I was a little crazy taking on so many boys without Curtis, but I like a little adventure in life. Needless to say, all went well and they had a great time. And the house survived.

Phew...What A Week!

Wow! What a week. When it rains, it pours(or snows)! Curtis is in Texas for firefighter training. So I was just me and a very full calendar. We've had three soccer games, ballet lessons, soccer practice, piano lessons, a dental appointment, an eye doctor appointment, 3 school finals for me, tae kwon do lessons and testing, scouts, and three parties. I am glad it is over so we can slow down a bit.

Nick tested for his green belt. He really enjoys tae kwon do. He has a natural ability.
