The Native Alaskan women and girls here sometimes wear a traditional kuspuk. They are a light weight "parka" that is worn during the summer time. They are usually made in bright prints. The little girls are so cute in them.
So I decided that I needed to make Megan one. She isn't a Native Alaskan, but she survived a winter here, so I think that that counts for something!

too cute - way to go all of your for surviving the winter
she is too cute!
You are a crafty mamma!
You know, while most of us aren't jealous of your winters, we are jealous of the summer you will be enjoying. Yesterday, today and even tomorrow have been (are going to be) 85 & 90 degrees. Ugh. It's HOT. Too soon. Yuck. Oh, and last Wednesday, it snowed. Yeah, we have been having some crazy weather and I hope it even back out soon back to like 70.
...none as cute as Megan though.
Very cute, she is getting so big. By the way, who is cooking and eating those fish?
Oh my gosh, that is so cute! Great job!
Oh she's a cutie. Look at that last pic. So cute.
Cute! That fabric is adorable. . .and so is Megan IN the fabric. Well done! I think you guys deserve more than a jacket for surviving an Alaska winter! I think you deserve. . . a tropical island for surviving!
ADORABLE! I want one just name your price! (seriously) She is so cute! I have pics from Easter I need to email you but I don't have your email. I was going to get it from Kari though.
