Beach Day

We live with an hours drive from many beaches along the Norfolk coastline.  But since it is England it is rarely warm enough to play in the water.  The beaches are often rocky and the weather is often gray and cloudy.  But that doesn't stop 4 water-loving babies.  It does, however, stop me.  I would rather sit and read that get near that freezing water.

History Live

We drove a couple hours to the middle of England to spend the day at a History Fair.  It had everything history from medieval jousts to WWII hospital tent reenactments.  There were lots of events to watch and activities to get involved in.

SuperDog

Max was so patient while Megan worked hard to make him a cape to prove that he was indeed SuperDog!

Girls Trip to Belgium

We are spoiled here in England living so close to so many wonderful things and places.  I was able to sneak away with a great group of ladies to spend the day in Brugge, Belgium.

July 4th

It was a bizarre experience to celebrate America's Independence Day while in the enemy country.  Still we joined our enemy friends in celebrating the holiday.  The base put on a huge carnival to celebrate.  We met up with some of our English friends to celebrate everything great about America.

We also headed down to Cambridge with Curtis' cousin, Dennis and his daughter Caroline, to visit the city.  We took a tour of the city via the water by going punting.  It is similar to riding in a gondola.

All-American?

I love seeing what other countries define as an American food.  Canned hot dogs?  Can't say as that I have ever eaten a canned hot dog... and I am from America!  We also only eat Poptarts, Lucky Charms, peanut butter and marshmallows.

No More Baby Teeth

This snaggle-tooth girl was in a bad way of needing to loose some teeth.  She was intent on pulling them out all by herself.  After many weeks of near constant wiggling, we earned our last toothless smile.
