Caleb's Cross Country

Caleb decided to run at his school's cross country meet.  They traveled to a village nearby and raced some other schools.  He came in 7th place.  Who knew we had a little runner?  Congratulations Caleb!

Castle Acre Priory and Castle

Not far from our home is a wonderful old priory and castle.  It dates back to the 12th century.  It is amazing to have so much history so nearby.

Our English Cottage

Our house is two or three (we've heard both) old cottages put together.  We have even heard that it may have been used as a pub some time ago.  It is in the middle of the village but when the gates are closed it feels very secluded.
It has had several additions added on to it making it large and spacious.
Our lovely garden stretches far back and has plenty of fruit trees to keep us busy this summer.
It has the right charm to experience England but is big enough for our family.  We are really happy here.

What?!?!

£12 for a case of Cherry Dr. Pepper?  That is $20.30.
 £7 for a box of Cap'n Crunch? $11.80.  I think NOT!

Happy Birthday, Curtis!

Another year closer to 40!  Yikes!

Caleb "accidentally" blew out the candles.

London

We went down to the Temple in London with some friends.  The kids took some pictures of the grounds.  I am looking forward to seeing the grounds in the summer.
And we couldn't go all the way to London without seeing some sights.

Off to British School We Go!

Caleb and Megan decided to go to the British Primary School in the village that we live in.  They get to wear uniforms, eat in the canteen, have swim lessons in the school pool, and be in years instead of grades.  Thankfully they get to speak English!!
